GCS Steels is part of the 600 Group Plc. We stock a substantial range of steel sections, tube, angles, beams, columns, sheets, and plates.

In addition, we can supply reinforcing fabric & accessories, expanded metal, open steel flooring, stair treads, profiling, ERW tubing, zintec, bright materials, aluminium and stainless steel on request.

We have a fabrication service available which includes drilling, welding, structural and butt splices.  We can also offer flitch beams, cranked steels and posts.

All materials can be primed red or grey oxide. Shot blasting and painting, or galvanised steel is available upon request.

Investment for 600 UK Manufacturing

The 600 Group has unveiled details of its recent investment in its main UK manufacturing site at Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire. The investment covers the consolidation of three businesses, 600 Lathes, 600 Centre and Pratt Burnerd International (PBI) into the Heckmondwike site, as well as the streamlining of the factory's workflow and new manufacturing equipment.
